German & Greek Frigate conduct PASSEX exercise in Aegean sea

The Greek Frigate NAVARINON participated in a joint training with the German frigate FGS LUEBECK, which took place in the central Aegean sea.

According to the Hellenic National Defense General staff, on Sunday, March 27, 2022, and in the context of international collaborations of the Greek Armed Forces in accordance with the planning of the General Staff, PASSEX (Passing Exercise) of the NAVARINON Frigate was conducted with the German FGS LUEBECK Frigate of the Standing NATO Maritime Group Two.

During the PASSEX exercise, exchange of tactical image, communications as well as progressive maneuvers were performed.

This co-training helped to raise the level of operational readiness, combat capability, and cooperation of the participants in an allied context.
