Presentation on the operational capabilities of the SPIKE SR and LR2 anti-tank missiles was held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the headquarters of the Hellenic Army General Staff by representatives of the company EUROSPIKE.

The SPIKE SR is a Fire and Forget anti-tank missile with a range of 50-2000 meters, which meets the anti-tank operational requirements of most of the European armed forces, according to EUROSPIKE.

The SPIKE LR2 is a 5th generation guided missile system designed for modern combat operations.

Eurospike is a joint venture based in Röthenbach, Germany between the German companies Diehl Defense GmbH & Co. KG and Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH and the Israeli Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd.

In addition, today, May 30, 2022, the Greek Chief of General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, met in his office with the Ambassador of Israel in Greece Mr Yossi Amrani due to the imminent end of his term of office. This meeting could also be related to the recent growing Greek interest in Israeli defense systems.
