Greek F-4E Phantom II in a joint exercise with the USS JASON DUNHAM

According to the announcement of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) on “Friday, April 29, 2022, and in the context of the planning of HNDGS regarding the international collaborations of Greek Armed Forces, PASSEX (Passing Exercise) of the Greek Frigate ADRIAS was conducted with the USS JASON DUNHAM of the “USS HARRY S. TRUMAN Aircraft Carrier Force” in the wider sea area of ​​the Ionian Sea.

During the joint training, the exchange of tactical images, communications, advanced maneuvers, and air defense warfare (Air Defense Exercise – ADEX) were performed with the participation of 2 Greek F-4s.

“This joint training took place in the framework of the updated Greece-US Mutual Defense Cooperation Agreement (MDCA), contributing to the promotion of the level of operational readiness, combat capability, and cooperation of the participants in a bilateral and allied framework.” concludes the announcement of HNDGS.
