This work was carried out under the recent Greece-US Transnational Agreement, which concerns the FMS program for the Follow-On Support of S-70 Helicopters, and includes, inter alia, the execution of a General Inspection of a Vessel by a certified domestic repair body.

The 11 S-70 helicopters were phased in from 1994 to 2005 and have a total of around 45,000 flight hours. The above program significantly strengthens their support and ensures their high availability while transferring know-how to domestic repair bodies.
