Loitering Munitions (also known as kamikaze drones) is a class of weapon systems in which ammunition orbits a target area for a period of time and attacks when the target is located.

Loitering Munitions are characterized as something between a cruise missile and unmanned aerial vehicles (UCAVs), as it has features in common with both.

The LORA missile system is a ballistic missile system built in Israel with a range of 400 kilometers and a CEP of 10 meters. In 2018 the system was purchased by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and used in 2020 in the Artsakh war.

Russia used Electronic Warfare against 12 Ukrainian Bayraktar TB2s

The Russian Ministry of Defense published footage from the Russian Electronic Warfare (EW) systems in action in Ukraine and gave strange data to the public about the action and the number of Ukrainian Bayraktar TB2.

Specifically, the announcement of the Russian Ministry of Defense states:

“The crews of electronic warfare systems Krasukha-4S, Murmansk and Moscow

“Crews of the Krasukha-4S, Murmansk, and Moscow electronic suppression complexes work out tasks for searching and identifying aerial objects, including reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial vehicles, and suppress the operation of aircraft onboard radar stations.

The complex has proven itself very well, works reliably in all weather conditions. Our main task is to cover the grouping of troops from radar reconnaissance and targeted enemy air strikes. During the operation, 12 Bayraktar complexes were discovered, we suppressed them, and the complexes could not make a targeted strike on our groups,” a Russian commander said, according to a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The problem with this announcement is that it is not clear whether it is talking about a recent incident and that the Russian announcements about the Turkish UAVs and their numbers are not that cohesive as they once state that they have destroyed everything but in other new announcements refer new shootings.

There are two possibilities, whether the Ukrainians continue to receive new Bayraktar TB2s from Turkey or the Russians exaggerate the numbers of shootings.

A new laser missile defense system developed by Israel has been successfully tested, according to Israeli officials.

The system has effectively intercepted mortars, rockets, and anti-tank missiles in previous tests, the report stated.

The Israeli laser system, known as the “Iron Beam”, is intended to be used in conjunction with a number of other air defense systems, including the Iron Dome missile interception system.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said it may sound like science fiction but it is real, noting that Iron Beam intercepts are silent, invisible, and cost about $ 3.50 per shot.

Although little is known about the effectiveness of the “IRON BEAM”, it is expected to be used on land, air, and at sea.

The goal is to develop laser systems along Israel’s borders over the next decade to protect the country from attack.

Earlier this month, the Israeli Ministry of Defense released a short video showing the successful interception of rockets, mortars, and unmanned aircraft by the new laser defense system.

  • Russia targeted a military factory in Kyiv, presumably in revenge for the sunken Moskva cruiser.
  • The plant was producing Neptune anti-ship missiles, which the Ukrainians claim been used to hit the Russian ships.
  • The attack apparently seriously damaged a laboratory and an administration building at the factory.

A military factory outside Kyiv was hit by Russia, possibly in retaliation for the Moskva cruiser.

The factory was producing R-360 Neptune anti-ship missiles, with which the Ukrainians claim to have hit the Russian warship Moskva.

A laboratory and an administrative building at the factory were reportedly severely damaged by the attack.

According to local sources, the attack took place at 1:30 pm, while Russia announced that it used Kalibr missiles to hit the factory.

As we have informed, the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the cruiser Moskva, sank, after damages caused by a fire that broke out on the ship. Russia said the fire was caused by the ship’s ammunition, while the Ukrainian armed forces said they had hit the Neptune missile cruiser.

The Russian ship was immediately evacuated and during the attempt of the Russian forces to tow it to a Crimean port, Moskva sank.

  • Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin said her country would decide in the coming weeks whether to join NATO. “
  • We must be prepared for any action by Russia,” Marin told a joint news conference with her Swedish counterpart. “
  • Russia has recently threatened Sweden and Finland that if they join NATO, Russia will respond by any means to protect its security, implying that the countries could also face a military attack as happened with Ukraine.

“We must be prepared for any action by Russia,” Marin told a joint news conference with her Swedish counterpart.

“The difference between being a partner and being a member is very clear and will remain so. “There is no other way to have security guarantees than to prevent and jointly defend NATO as guaranteed by Article 5,” he said.

“I will not give any kind of timetable when we will make our decisions, but I think it will happen fast enough – in weeks, not months,” Marin said.

Finland, which shares a 1,300-kilometer border with Russia to the east and faced Soviet invasion during World War II, has maintained neutrality since then and there should be unanimity, he said, adding that political parties would conduct internal debates in parliament in the coming weeks.

Recently, after the Russian invasion, Finnish officials who were opposed to their country joining NATO said they were considering it a reasonable choice.

As for Sweden, Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson also said that there are advantages and disadvantages to joining the alliance, but Article 5 is a very important guarantee.

Russia has recently threatened Sweden and Finland that if they join NATO, Russia will respond by any means to protect its security, implying that the countries could also face a military attack as happened with Ukraine.

Former United States President Donald Trump has agreed with President Biden that Russia’s war in Ukraine is a “genocide.”

Despite criticizing Joe Biden’s policy in general, Trump referred to Ukraine as “This is a genocide.” This happened one day after Biden himself had called the Russian invasion genocide.

Your family budget, your ability to fill your tank, none of this should depend on whether a dictator declares war and commits genocide on the other side of the world,” Biden had said.

Trump, had previously referred to the Russian invasion as a “holocaust” and condemned Russia’s actions against Ukrainian citizens.

“We have the strongest, most capable nuclear power in the world, thanks to what I did,” added Donald Trump, noting that if he were still in power, Putin would not have attacked Ukraine.
