Another terrorist leader has been killed by USA forces, this time in Afghanistan. Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda, was killed in his hideout in Kabul by a modified Hellfire R9x missile.
This missile, which is also known as the “ninja bomb”, has become the weapon of choice for the United States when it comes to eliminating leaders of extremist groups.
The missile, instead of exploding uses its kinetic energy and launches 6 blades at its mark and we can very easily understand what ensues for its target.
Ayman al-Zawahiri had of course been reported to have died many times in the past, even a year ago when it was reported that he died as a result of a serious illness.
This time though, thr R9X seems to have actually achieved its goal.
