Israeli PM Naftali Bennett stated that Israel would not be bound by any nuclear agreement with Iran and that the country will continue to consider itself free “to act with no limitations” against Iranian nuclear progress.
“We are obviously concerned about the Vienna nuclear discussions,” Bennett stated in public remarks while briefing a parliamentary committee on the situation and explained that Israel in these agreements with Iranians, is not taking part.
“Israel will not be tied by what will be included in the agreements (with Iran [if they are signed]), and Israel will continue to maintain complete freedom of action anywhere at any time, with no restrictions,” says Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.
In an effort to rescue the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, indirect discussions are happening in Vienna for the past week. French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian warned on Friday that time is running out but there has been positive progress.
Previously, the Israeli Foreign Ministry warned Iran that “Israel will do whatever it takes to defend its security. And we don’t need anyone’s approval for that. This has been happening since the first day we established this state,”
