Su27 fighter jets from the air defense forces of the Southern Russian Military District were deployed to locate air targets and prevent a possible violation of the borders of the Russian Federation close to the Black Sea.

A French Air Force tanker, a Mirage-2000, and a Rafale, were spotted by Russian fighter jets and escorted over the Black Sea.

The Russian fighters returned safely to their base after expelling the foreign military aircraft from the state borders of the Russian Federation. The national borders of the Russian Federation were not violated. ” says the announcement of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
