The Algerian Minister of National Defense denied the information reported by several international media, according to which Algerian Navy submarines located and chased an Israeli submarine.
Based on our research on GEOPOLITIKI.COM, the reports were initially started by Iranian media and state that an Israeli submarine, which was located near the national territorial waters of Algeria during the Algerian national exercise “RADAA 2021”, proceeded to spy on military frequencies of Algerian submarines.
An official statement categorically refuted this news, explaining that the aforementioned naval exercise “RADAA 2021” was carried out with great success by the crews of the Algerian submarines and during it, no incident was recorded.
