Turkey has again offered to play the role of mediator between Kiev and Moscow, with Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavusoglu inviting the Russian and Ukrainian Foreign Ministers to the Antalya International Diplomatic Forum next week.

Speaking to reporters in Belgium on Friday, where he attended a NATO meeting, the Turkish Foreign minister said that his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov confirmed his participation in the Antalya Diplomatic Forum that will be held from March 11 to 13.

Cavusoglu said a meeting between Lavrov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba could take place at the Forum, but added that he was not sure if Ukrainian officials could attend.
