China is upgrading and installing more radars along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) even as it is in talks with India to resolve the dispute on the border.

India and China are occupied with an eight-month deadlock at LAC in Eastern Ladakh. Both the nations are trying to resolve the conflict peacefully but..

China has begun installing radars from Ladakh to Sikkim district which is viewed by India as an aggressive action.

India on the other hand responded by setting up coastal surveillance radar systems as part of its policy to enhance military diplomacy that will also lead to increased security measures.

The radars meant for maritime surveillance have already been installed in cooperation with India in Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Seychelles and will be soon set up in Maldives, Myanmar and Bangladesh too.
