Turkish army renewed its attacks as their troops targeted the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) which consist mostly of Kurdish Syrians close to the town of Manbij.
Free Syrian Army (FSA) & Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri (TSK) Forces fired artillery projectiles and missiles against SDF’s positions for more than 12 hours.
SDF is one of the key allies of the United States of America in the region & are part of the Allied anti-terrorism ops against Islamists in Syria
Syrian Democratic Forces did not respond to these attacks as they are trying to avoid escalating the conflict further. On the other hand, Turkey is constantly sending Military reinforcements to the region & arms FSA or TFSA against SDF & Kurdish populations
