The UAE strongly condemned the Houthi attempt to hit the Saudi Arabian city Khamis Mushait with a drone that was intercepted by the forces of the Arab coalition.
The UAE also expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the systematic attempts of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia to target civilians in Saudi Arabia.
The Emirati Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed as well the country’s solidarity and support with the Saudi Kingdom in the face of these terrorist attacks.
The Ministry’s statement noted that the security of the UAE and the security of Saudi Arabia are indivisible and therefore any threat against Saudi Arabia is considered to be against the United Arab Emirates too.
The ministry urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these repeated actions that target the security of the people and facilities of Saudi Arabia, as well as energy supplies and the stability of the global economy.
