An Indian soldier was killed Wednesday in clashes with Pakistan along the LoC checkpoint in the Rajouri area of Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian army spokesman said.
“The Pakistani military has resorted to unforeseen violations of the ceasefire in the Sundarbani area of Rajuri. “Our troops responded immediately and returned fire,” the spokesman said.
Jodhpur resident Seppi Lakman was the fourth soldier killed this year in a ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control, or LoC.
He stated that Luckman was seriously injured during the battle and later succumbed to his injuries.
“Lakman was a brave and high-morale soldier. The nation will always owe it to him for his supreme sacrifice and dedication to duty, “the Indian military spokesman concluded in a statement.
