Turkey will not allow warships to cross the Bosporus Straits, and warned all coastal and non-coastal countries, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoglu said.
The Turkish Foreign Minister made this statement immediately after his conversation with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, which focused on Russia and Ukraine.
It is recalled that Ukraine on Thursday had asked Turkey to close the Straits, but the Turkish government had replied that this is not possible due to a clause in an international agreement that allows ships to return to their base.
