Turkish President Erdogan visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were in addition to the multiple agreements and memoranda’s of cooperation signed, a letter of intent (LOI) was also signed to strengthen their defence cooperation.
The crown prince to the UAE and Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the signing of several cooperation agreements, memoranda of understandings and protocols between the UAE and Turkey which aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
These agreements aim to expand cooperation between the two countries, including economy, health and agriculture, as well as transport, advanced technologies, climate, culture and defence cooperation through the Letter of Intent (LOI) aimed at military-industrial production.
The signing of the Letter of Intent (LOI) was also announced by Ismail Demir, the president of the Turkish Defense Industries.
Erdogan and Sheikh Mohammed had met a few months ago at Erdogan’s “palace” where they had signed a series of agreements with the UAE declaring its intentions to strengthen the Turkish economy with a package of agreements worth approximately $ 10 billion.
