“On Wednesday 08 June 22, a presentation was made to the staff of the General Staff by representatives of the company DYNAMIT NOBEL DEFENCE, regarding Explosive Reactive Armour (ERA) systems for tanks – armored vehicles – tracked vehicles” concludes the announcement.

What is Explosive Reactive Armour (ERA)?

Reactive armour is a type of armour that responds by means of a small explosion in the opposite direction to the impact of an anti-tank munition to reduce the damage caused to the vehicle that it is fitted to.

After closely examining the Ukrainian war, Greek army seems to be looking for such solutions to protect Greek tanks and mechanized units from anti-tank munitions and missiles.
