Hamas officials have been targeted by the IDF, contributing daily to the further disorganization of both the leadership and the fighters of the organization with their elimination. In the last 48 hours, the Israeli armed forces neutralized six more officials, according to an announcement by the IDF.
The Israeli armed forces announced on Monday:
“During the last day, the IDF forces, under the direction of Shin Bet, eliminated Yaakov Ashour, head of the anti-tank units of the Khan Yunis Brigade of the terrorist organization Hamas, using fighter jets.

Ashur was a battalion commander in the formation and later the head of the anti-tank formation in the Khan Yunis Brigade. As part of his position, he took part in leading and directing offensive operations against the IDF forces.
Additionally, Khosl Muhammad Hamis Dababesh, a senior Hamas terrorist official, was also killed. He had served, among other things, as the head of military intelligence for the Hamas terrorist organization.

In the last two years, Dababesh served as the secretary of the national relations portfolio in the Political Bureau and as a Hamas representative at the gathering of national and Islamic factions in the Gaza Strip. He was involved in directing the attack in the settlement of Atzmona in March 2002, in which five Israelis were murdered, an attack led by Muhammad Sinuar, Waal Nasser and Taysir Mubasher.
On the past day, Tahsin Maslam, the commander of the combat assistance company who was responsible for the special forces in Beit Lahia, Jihad Azam, an investigative officer of the military intelligence of Hamas in Zeitoun, and Manir Harev, head of intelligence in the Rafah Brigade, were also killed.“
