From March 20 to 24, 2022, the annual multinational aeronautical exercise “NOBLE DINA – 2022” took place in the sea area Southwest of Cyprus.
The exercise involved vessels and aircraft of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Cyprus, Greece, USA, France and Israel which was also the host country.
As reported by the announcement of Cyprus National Guard:
“The scenario of the exercise included various educational activities in the marine environment, such as Regular Movements and Advanced Maneuvers, Naval Warfare, Anti-submarine Warfare and Aeronautical Cooperation operations, as well as Search and Rescue exercise” concludes the announcement of National Guard.
For its part, the Hellenic Navy, announces that:
The Hellenic Navy participated in the Exercise with the Frigate “NIKIFOROS FOKAS”, the fast attack craft “GRIGOROPOULOS”, the Submarine “OCEANOS ” a Helicopter and a maritime patrol aircraft. Israel participated with three Corvettes and one Submarine, the US and France with a maritime patrol aircraft respectively and Cyprus with the Offshore Patrol Vessel IOANNIDIS, the General Support Ship “ALASIA” and a helicopter” conclude the announcement of the Hellenic Navy.
