Russia is ready to conduct negotiations with Turkey on the possible delivery of Su-35 and Su-57 fighter jets if it receives the corresponding request, Russian Federal Agency for Military and Technical Cooperation Spokeswoman Valeria Resetnikova said on Friday.
“With regard to Ankara’s possible plans to purchase Russian Su-35 and Su-57 fighters, it should be noted that the Turkish side has been fully informed of their technical specifications. If there is a request from Turkey for these aircraft, we are ready for negotiations on the matter,” the spokeswoman said.
“The Turkish side has long stated its intention to implement the development of its own fifth generation TF-X fighter.
