Moreover, a few days ago, Iraqi media reported another attack at the airport by three drones, one of which was shot down.
Last year, the Iraqi parliament voted to end the presence of all foreign forces in the country in response to the drone attack conducted by the American forces near Baghdad International Airport that killed the Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani.
Following this decision, the United States withdrew from multiple military bases handing them over to the Iraqi forces, and also agreed to pull all the US-led coalition troops out of Iraq.
