The Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and representatives of the “United Russia” party, on Sunday, claimed that the Russian warplanes are the best in the world.
“The Russian Federation is the undisputed leader in the field of military aviation,” the Russian President stated.
“As for military aviation, the whole world is well aware here, we are the undisputed leaders in the field of military aviation. Russian warplanes are not only competitive, they are the best in the world. I am saying this without any exaggeration, and with a sense of pride in our aircraft and our aircraft manufacturers,” he added.
We remind, that Russia is working on a new 5th gen MiG fighter jet, a prototype of which was recently presented at the “MAX 2021” exhibition. The new Russian fighter jet is planned to be available for the Russian Air Force and the international market in the next few years.
