The General Director of the Severnaya Verf shipyard, Igor Orlov, speaking to journalists, said that the Project 22350 frigate, Admiral Golovko, will begin sea trials in mid-2022.

According to Russia, project 22350 frigates are designed to perform a wide range of tasks, including the destruction of other ships, convoys, landing teams, search and destruction of submarines and ground targets, anti-aircraft, anti-submarine and missile defense, joint work with amphibious assault forces, patrol service and protection of state borders.

The frigate’s displacement is 5,000 tons, the speed 29 knots, and has a cruising range 4,500 miles, autonomous driving of 30 days, and a 170-members crew.
