What was Turkey doing while Greece & the US were signing the MDCA?

What was Turkey doing while Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias & Antony Blinken signed the extension of the Mutual Defense Cooperation Agreement (MDCA) between Greece and the United States?

The same day, Turkey invited a Taliban delegation to Ankara with the Taliban Foreign Minister paying an official visit.

They did not stop at a simple visit, but the Turks called on the international community to help the Taliban overcome the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, stressing that this request by Turkey does not imply a formal recognition of the Taliban leadership in Afghanistan.

In particular, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoglu received the current Afghan Foreign Minister under the Taliban, Amir Khan Muteki, in Ankara and stated:

“We have told the international community about the importance of working with the current Taliban government (to battle the humanitarian crisis). “In fact, recognition and commitment are two different things,” said Mevlüt Tsavousoglu.

In summary, the qualitative difference between Turkish and Greek diplomacy is clear & the United States seem to be aware of that difference choosing to cooperate more with Greece and at the same time choosing to sanction Turkey furthermore.
