According to Armenian sources, Armenia and Greece develop new directions of cooperation in the tech field. This was stated during the meeting of Minister of High-Tech of Armenia Hayk Chobanyan with the Greek Ambassador to Armenia Evangelos Turnakis and Military Attaché Colonel Gerasimos Avlonitis.

Due to the strong political, cultural, and religious ties between the two nations, Armenia and Greece today enjoy excellent diplomatic relations. The bonds between the two countries have always been strong both emotionally and historically due to religious and cultural roots.

Armenia was recently at war with Azerbaijan over the region of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) that ended up with Armenia losing an important part of the territory. Nowadays, more than half a year after the end of the war in Nagorno Karabakh there is still tension on the two countries’ borders with individual incidents taking place every now and then.

It is also noted that Armenia is designing and producing its own national domestic-made military UAVs, making even kamikaze-type ones.
