IDF announced that its forces are attacking Gaza which is, an important escalation in the region and HAMAS is now responding with rocket attacks against Israeli cities.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Jonathan Conricus also gave an update:

“The Israeli army is engaged in preparations for a land operation in the Gaza Strip, but no order to start carrying out this offensive has been made so far.”

Israel Defense Forces confirmed also that troops were contributing to the aerial offensive by marking Hamas positions on the ground. Benjamin Netanyahu said the military operation will continue as long as it takes to restore law and order to the cities of Israel.

In an also interesting escalation Syrian Air Defenses are now on high alert to combat any possible Israeli incursion in Syria. For the moment, there is no aerial activity.
