French Frigate Performs Exercises With Cyprus as the French defence minister announced the drill, she went on to say that France will do whatever is necessary to assist Cyprus in protecting its Exclusive Economic Zone.
“France assists the Republic of Cyprus in the exercise of its sovereign rights, in accordance with the united stance of the EU,” a representative of the Cypriot administration stated as the French Frigate sailed close to Cyprus.
There is another rumour that an Italian frigate will support the French frigate in order to provide further support.
