Greece eyes VERA-NG Passive Radar

Representatives of the company “ERA a.s” had a meeting at the General Staff of the Hellenic Air Force with Greek officials.

The Greek Ministry of National Defense announced:

“On Thursday, May 26, 2022, a meeting was held at the General Staff of the Hellenic Air Force (GAA) with the representatives of the company ERA, Mr. Libor Kriz (Sales Manager), Mr. Jiri Vanoureck (Senior Sales Manager) and Mr. John Papayannis ( Consultant) with competent officers of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff and of the 140 Operational Intelligence & Electronic Warfare Group.

The purpose of the meeting was to present the capabilities of the passive radar VERA NG, manufactured by the company” the statement concludes.

VERA-NG is an advanced passive radar, which, according to the company, is designed to detect, locate, monitor and identify air, land and naval targets.
