  • Russia targeted a military factory in Kyiv, presumably in revenge for the sunken Moskva cruiser.
  • The plant was producing Neptune anti-ship missiles, which the Ukrainians claim been used to hit the Russian ships.
  • The attack apparently seriously damaged a laboratory and an administration building at the factory.

A military factory outside Kyiv was hit by Russia, possibly in retaliation for the Moskva cruiser.

The factory was producing R-360 Neptune anti-ship missiles, with which the Ukrainians claim to have hit the Russian warship Moskva.

A laboratory and an administrative building at the factory were reportedly severely damaged by the attack.

According to local sources, the attack took place at 1:30 pm, while Russia announced that it used Kalibr missiles to hit the factory.

As we have informed, the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the cruiser Moskva, sank, after damages caused by a fire that broke out on the ship. Russia said the fire was caused by the ship’s ammunition, while the Ukrainian armed forces said they had hit the Neptune missile cruiser.

The Russian ship was immediately evacuated and during the attempt of the Russian forces to tow it to a Crimean port, Moskva sank.
