The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov spoke in an interview about the losses of the Russian army.
Peskov acknowledged that the losses to Russian forces were significant and that they were trying to end the “operation” in Ukraine as soon as possible.
“We have significant troop losses and it is a huge tragedy for us,” the Russian official said.
“Our army is doing its best to end this operation. “And we hope that in the coming days, in the near future, this operation will achieve its goals or will be completed with the negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations,” he added.
The spokesman for the Russian presidency also spoke about the images released from the city of Bucha, denying that the Russian army was involved in the killing of civilians in the Ukrainian city and saying that even the satellite photos are not true.
