Tehran to develop a “Space- Radar” after Noor-1

Tehran made a technological breakthrough with its space program, launching the military satellite Noor-1 into orbit.

US space chief General Raymond has ridiculed the spacecraft as a “space camera.”

However, Iran released detailed satellite images of the largest US base in the Middle East.

“Based on the success of its previous efforts, Iran must move towards the development and construction of space radars,” said Iran’s deputy defense minister.

“Sooner or later, we will need space radars. We must continue and have the necessary framework in this regard to ensure that the country does not suffer from any ‘strategic technological surprises’ in the future.” the deputy defense minister said in a speech at a conference on radar and surveillance systems on Saturday.
