After a long time, we saw in a photo the S-300 Air-Defense systems maintained by Greece during the visit of the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff to the 11th Guided Missile Squadron.
Specifically, the announcement of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff:
“On Wednesday, July 27, 2022, the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General Themistocles Bourolias, visited the 11th Guided Missile Squadron in Heraklion, Crete, where he was received by the Commander of the Unit, Lieutenant General Myron Hahlioutis.
During his visit, the Chief was informed about the current issues of the Squadron, toured the workplaces and talked to the staff” the announcement concludes.
In the photo, the 11th Guided Missile Squadron shows both the Greek S-300s and the TORs whose main purpose is to protect the larger systems from threats.
