The Russian Armed Forces begin combat readiness checks

The Russian Armed Forces have begun routine combat readiness checks, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Tuesday, according to Russian media RIA.

“Troops have gone to the training sites for regular, special tactics and bilateral exercises,” the Russian defense minister told a conference at the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation.

The exercises will be carried out in all military areas of Russia, from the Western border to the border of Russia with Japan.

All troops will take part in these assessment exercises. At the same time, the General Staff Committee will conduct an inspection in the Eastern Military District.

Given this, we will stick to the official announcement that these are routine exercises that occur at regular intervals in the Russian Federation.
