Military Warehouses of Western weapons and ammunition for the Ukrainian army at the facilities of an aluminum plant in Zaporizhia were destroyed by Russian Kalibr missiles, according to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The statement also said that the Russian air force struck 59 Ukrainian military installations overnight as the war in Ukraine still rages.
Among them are 50 assembly points for Ukrainian armed forces and military equipment, four weapons and ammunition depots near the settlements of Chervonye, Dolgenkoe, Pashkoe, and Veseloe, and a Buk-M1 anti-aircraft system near Sloviansk.
According to Russia, as a result of the strikes, more than 120 “nationalists” and 35 armored vehicles were destroyed.
Furthermore, the Russian ministry stated that in the last twenty-four hours, Russian invading soldiers’ artillery forces hit 432 gathering places of Ukrainian people and military equipment, 67 artillery positions, two rocket launcher batteries, and seven supply depots.
It is also reported that the Russian air force shot down 18 Ukrainian UAVs, including two Bayraktar TB-2s.
