Massive Russian airstrikes in Syria against ISIS terrorists

According to SOHR sources, the number of airstrikes carried out by Russian fighter jets against ISIS positions in the al-Rasafa and al-Tabni deserts in Syria has surpassed 40, marking an unusually high number of Russian airstrikes in Syria.

These bombings took place following a series of reconnaissance flights carried out by the Russian and Syrian Air Force over the course of 72 hours.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights sources reported that Russian fighters struck ISIS hideouts in the Syrian desert during a series of massive Russian airstrikes that lasted nearly 20 minutes and covered the area between the Al Raqqh and Deir Ezzor deserts.

The Russian Airstrikes targetted enemy positions between the deserts of the governorate of Raqqa and the deserts of Deir ez-Zor again almost immediately after the previous bombing run.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) and the Russian Ministry of Defense, the total number of bombings carried out in the Syrian desert since Monday morning has reached 80 as a result of the Russian airstrikes carried out yesterday.

The information circulating in some news sites claiming that Russian fighter jets struck a Turkish base does not appear to be accurate, as this has not been confirmed by any official source.
