The Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan might be announcing every three months that he is starting talks with countries in the region but the day after, he criticizes those countries & destroys any re-approach as he did this time with Israel, accusing it of hostility to Islam.
Erdogan told Turkish journalists about the Israeli attack on Gaza:
“This is, of course, a very clear indication of Israel’s attitude towards Muslims. We know about Israel’s hostility to Islam.
Unfortunately, Israel is not abandoning these habits. In view of this hostility towards Islam, we want all humanity to closely monitor Israel’s hostile behavior towards Islam and assess it accordingly.
Of course, as long as Israel maintains this stance, it is not possible for our bilateral relations to reach the desired level,” Erdogan’s statement concluded.
