The Israeli army announced the sudden start of military drills and maneuver’s for its naval forces, as part of raising the military’s readiness for combat.
Avichai Adraee, the Israeli army spokesman, announced the begging of exercises and said that:
“This morning, a sudden exercise began in the Navy, where the ports, beaches and the marine field will witness active movements of the marine vessels and the sounds of explosions will be heard. The exercise has been planned in the annual training plan and aims to raise the readiness of the forces” – Avichay Adraee wrote on his Twitter account
Adraee noted that “the exercise has been planned in the annual training plan, and it aims to raise the readiness of the forces.”
Israeli navy operates in East Meditterean with the task to protect Israel’s offshore gas rigs and these types of exercises are crucial.
