The United Arab Emirates and Belarus affirmed on Monday their interest in developing military-technical cooperation.
“The second day of the Military-Technical Forum “Army 2021″ began within the work program of the Belarusian delegation, with a meeting between the Chairman of the State Military Industry Committee, Dmitry Pantus, and the UAE Deputy Minister of Defense for Defense Support and Industries, Mubarak Saeed Al-Jabri”, the official spokesman of the Belarusian State Military Industry Committee, Vladimir Lavrenyuk, said.
The two parties also discussed the implementation of current contracts and the prospects for interaction between the two countries, and interest in mutually beneficial cooperation was noted.
Moreover, the Chairman of the State Military Industry Committee, Dmitry Pantus, had a meeting with the Director-General of the Joint Services Authority of the Russian company “Kronstadt”, Sergey Bogatykov. During their meeting, they briefed each other about the capabilities of their companies in the field of creating drones, and they also discussed promising projects in this field.
The State Military Industries Committee and the Russian company “Kronstadt” signed also an agreement for the development and production of military equipment and unmanned aircraft.
