There seems to be an interest of the Hellenic Army General Staff in upgrading the country’s M113s which have not seen significant upgrades despite the decades they serve in the Greek Army.
Specifically according to the Hellenic Ministry of National Defense:
“On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, a presentation was made to the Hellenic Army General Staff by representatives of the company Hellenic Defence Systems, regarding the upgrade of the M113 APC, in collaboration with the company FFG MBH” concludes the announcement of the Greek Ministry of Defense.
The M113s if exploited properly by Greece can be a real tool for the Greek Army as they can be modified in many ways.
