Russia is going to present its new stealth fighter jet for the first time next week as part of the MAKS-2021 air show.
According to international media reports, the new single-engine supersonic fighter appears to be lighter and smaller than the Su-57, the Russian air force’s most recent fighter jet so far.
Although not much information is yet known about the new Russian fighter jet, Russian officials say the aircraft in question is projected to compete in international markets, the American F-35 fighter jet.
Rostec, the parent company of Sykhoi, said the unveiling of the new fighter jet will take place on July 20th, the first day of the air show, which will take place in Zhukovsky, Moscow.
