An Armenian army defence ministry official said that more than 20 Azerbaijani soldiers were killed in action and wounded, and three pieces of military equipment were lost when Azerbaijani troops attempted an assault on the southern section of Jebrail at around 8:30 a.m.
“As always, the Artsakh Defense Army is wreaking havoc on the enemy (Azerbaijani troops). Two enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down in the south “Shushan Stepanyan stated.
Hikmet Hajiyev, the Azerbaijani presidential assistant, tweeted that an Armenian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) had been destroyed in Azerbaijan, but the photos attached show an Israeli-made Harop UAV from their own stockpile which Artsakh forces shot it down or it malfunctioned.
