HELINA: India successfully tests its own anti-tank missile

Another test of the domestic anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) “HELINA” was carried out by India.

“In the high-altitude areas of Ladakh, India successfully launched a test launch of the Helina anti-tank guided missile launched by a domestic Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH Dhruv).

It was tested in the same area where it successfully hit a tank simulation target yesterday, ” officials of the Indian defense industry DRDO told ANI NEWS.

This successful test confirmed the ability of the missile to operate at high altitudes, which will be the main weapon of many variants of the domestic development of the ALH Dhruv helicopter.

According to India and DRDO which is also responsible for its development, the “HELINA” anti-tank missile is one of the most advanced anti-tank weapons in the world.
