Russia has announced its military developments on the war in Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense states the following:
“A group of troops of the Russian Armed Forces, continuing a successful attack, penetrated 2 kilometers in the defense of the 95th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and reached the southern suburbs of Novoselivka.
“Luhansk People’s Republic units advanced 5 kilometers during the attack, occupying Ivanovka and Novosadovoye and reaching the Novolublino-Terny line.”
“The Russian Air Force has shot down four Su-24 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force over the Chernihiv region.
1 Ukrainian Su-27 fighter jet was shot down near Kramatorsk, in the Donetsk region. 19 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed during the day.
In addition, 5 Ukrainian missiles were intercepted near Chernobaevka airport in the Kherson region.
“A total of 308 UAVs, 1,713 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 170 rocket launchers, 715 guns, and mortars, as well as 1,557 military vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been destroyed,” the Russian MoD statement stated.
