The Cypriot National Guard Artillery Units conducted Artillery Training Firings on sea targets at the Kition Firing Range over a four-day period from November 15 to 18, 2021, according to the Cypriot National Guard.
This exercise Cypriot National Guard Artillery Units marked the end of the Second Cycle of training for Artillerymen who had newly enlisted and completed their training, with a few reservists taking part in the fire.
Furthermore, the Commander of the Artillery Brigade, as well as commanders operating in Units armed with NORA 155 mm guns from the Serbian Armed Forces, had the opportunity to observe the firings as part of the Bilateral Defence Co-operation Program with Serbia.
The Chief of the Cypriot National Guard, Lieutenant General Demokritos Zervakis, was present for the artillery shots, praising the combat-worthiness and high level of training of the Artillery Units.
