The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially puts an end to Turkish provocations, stating again that “there is no possibility of co-exploitation of the Aegean”.
These scenarios were created immediately after the meaningless and false statements of the Turkish Minister of Defense, Akar, which claimed that allegedly discussed the “joint exploitation” in the Aegean with his Greek Counter-part, which the Greek Minister of Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos had immediately refuted.
Propaganda Scenarios that the Turkish media play against Greece is an aggressive tactic of Ankara toward International Media and don’t represent reality in the Aegean.
More specifically as reported and the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
“There is no possibility of co-exploitation in the Aegean sea,” said Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, speaking today on Real FM 97.8 and journalists Nikos Hatzinikolaou and Katia Makri, and reiterated the firm Greek position that the EEZ should be declared through the joint action of Greece and Turkey at the International Court of Justice in The Hague. “There is no other way, and this is a permanent position of Greece since 1975,” concludes the statement of the Greek Deputy Foreign Minister.
