Yatsenyuk for Zelensky: Putin will “eat him for breakfast” without Western aid

“I would advise Zelensky to avoid holding separate discussions with Putin. He can only speak with Putin if he is accompanied by our Western allies, which include the United States and Europe. ”

Arseniy Yatsenyuk, a former Ukrainian prime minister, said and warned that if Zelensky initiates separate talks with Putin, the Russian leader “will eat him for breakfast.”

According to him, Russia is attempting to portray itself as a victim in the ongoing negotiations with the United States and the European Union.

This is complete and utter nonsense. Russia ratified the Budapest Memorandum but then went back on its word and violated it. Putin broke the strategic partnership for friendship and cooperation with Ukraine, which he signed in 2007.

The Soviet Union annexed most of the territories it had occupied after World War II, including Crimea, and occupied portions of Donetsk and Luhansk. Moreover, they claim that someone is threatening them,” the former Ukrainian prime minister said, adding that Ukraine requires strong defensive weapons in order to deter Russia from intervening.

“We are not going to give up. “For Ukraine, this is a matter of life and death,” Yatsenyuk” said.
