The F5 version of the French Rafale fighter jets is likely to have a number of advanced features that will consolidate the fighter’s position as one of the best in the world.
Dassault Aviation is preparing the F5 version which it said will be “gifted with an impressive number of features“.
Greece and India are among the nations that use RAFALE, and this new version will allow the fighter to continue to operate for years to come.
“In the early 2030s, the F5 version will allow us to further improve the ability to add new sensors and equipment to Rafale, as well as communication, cooperation, and interoperability capability,” french magazine Zone Military quoted Frédéric Parisian, Deputy Chief of the French Air Force, as said.
Rafale is a two-engine air superiority fighter jet with the latest version of the F4 already approved by the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA) in 2017 and expected to have increased connectivity, cyber protection, and radar systems.
