A major exercise was held in Israel with Greek General Staff officially announcing Greece’s participation in the Israeli special forces exercises HD ANNUAL 21.
Special Operations Forces of Greece, France, the United Kingdom, the USA, Jordan, Italy, Israel and Morocco participated, at Israel’s invitation, in the exercise under the name “HD ANNUAL – 21, which took place at the Eliakim military base from 5 to 8 July 2021
The Israeli exercise included:
- Shots of atomic weaponry at short distances.
- Sniper shots.
- Battle in a residential area.
- Clearing underground corridors.
“HD ANNUAL-21″ is part of the international collaborations of the Greek Special Forces designed by the Special Warfare Command of the Greek Army, aiming to upgrade the level of cooperation and understanding, with friends and allied countries in the exchange of knowledge and experience as well as in the promotion of Greece abroad.” the Greek General Staff announced for the Greek units participating in the exercise
