Fierce fighting broke out yesterday, March 25, in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) between Armenian and Azeri forces who invaded the area that was supposed to be guarded by Russian peacekeeping forces.
At least three Armenian soldiers have been killed so far, according to Armenian media reports, who also said that Armenian positions were hit by Bayraktar TB2 (UAV) operated by Azerbaijan.
Azeri forces, according to Armenian information, have reportedly evicted the residents of the village of Parukh and occupied the area, with Russian troops currently not intervening.
Azerbaijan, for its part, denies this information.
Immediately after these developments, there was a telephone conversation between the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, and the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.
During the telephone conversation, Pashinyan asked Putin to immediately investigate the circumstances that led to the non-reaction of the Russian peacekeepers and their immediate use to restore Parukh to their control.
