A Turkish journalist launched an attack against Greece, accusing Greece of becoming a puppet of the European Union and the United States and threatening that Greece could end up like Ukraine.
In particular, according to Turkish media, Sabah columnist Mehmet Barlas stated that Greece has delivered all its will to the European Union and USA.
“Whenever Western powers say “fight and die’, they must do so. I do not think that the Greek people, who have lost the ability to determine their own destiny, finally want to become like Ukraine. It seems that Greece will quickly replace the PKK,” the Turkish journalist stated.
Such remarks are common in Turkish newspapers and television channels, and they are made solely to influence public opinion in the context of Turkey’s revisionist policies in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea and to justify a new provocation against Greece and Cyprus.
